Hooray – you found my Shop page!
With all the pandemic woes this year, I am S-L-O-W-L-Y making my way into the world of selling via the internet. Hang in there with me as I transition to something workable!
My re-energized* fiber art of basketry, sewn mats, natural dyed and hand-embellished silk scarves, notecards, and handmade paper wall pieces are listed below. My soft-sculpture Women Warriors, SnipPets© and Strange Angels will take a bit more thought as they like to be felt and held and squeezed and fondled to be fully appreciated… at some point they will join the rest on this site when I figure out how best to show them…
*re-energized = most of the materials I use are items that would typically be discarded or trashed. I give them new life and pass on that energy to you!
For all sales I accept:
- most major credit cards via Square (email or call and leave a message with your phone number and the item/s you want – I will respond as quickly as possible and take care of your charge over the phone)
- personal checks (just let me know what item/s you are wanting and I will put a hold on it/them until the check arrives).
- If you live near Harrison, OH, and would like to do a physical exchange of art/$$, just let me know!
FYI: Tax is included in the item price.
Postage and Packaging (minimum $5) will be based on your order and determined at the time of sale.
All $$ listed are in USD.
If what you see below is not what you would really like, feel free to contact me and see what I can do about it!
As I enjoy meeting the folks who adopt my work, and more often remember faces than names, please consider leaving me a message and saying a bit about yourself when you purchase an item!
Below are the various art forms available; click a link to go to a specific technique/section or just scroll through the whole shebang!

Naturally Dyed Silk Scarves
Nature does a terrific job of depositing color and design wherever it can. The bits of nature that find their way to my silk scarves are subtle, rich, inviting and intriguing. Check out how nature blesses us without hardly trying.
The only marks on these lovely wardrobe additions come directly from nature.
Trails – added marks resemble trails throughout the scarf.
Dots – added marks resemble clusters of dots throughout the scarf.
Wanderings – added marks look randomly placed throughout the scarf.
Outlines: added marks outline the botanical shapes.
Handmade paper (HMP) can be made from all sorts of plants which have strong fibers within either the stems or leaves. The non-cellulose parts get cooked out of the plants and the strong fibers get reduced into their finest and smallest forms by either a blender or Hollander beater. Those fibers are then collected on a screen to form a sheet of paper. Each plant has different characteristics which show up in the paper that is made.
HMP Notecards: The outer paper is handmade from various fiber pulps (e.g. leeks, rice, curly dock, palm, etc.) and then embellished with machine sewn scraps of cloth. Each card contains a commercial paper insert for easy writing plus a commercial envelope for mailing. The various pulps range from white-ish (cotton) to tans, greens (leeks) and medium browns (curly dock). Stock on hand changes regularly as well as the cloth scraps available – no two alike!
Size: 5.5″ x 4 1/4″ 2 cards/set for $10.
