mid-May 2006 update from Debbie:

Sean and Karl played in a rookie paintball tournament and came in third out of 15 teams. Sean is now deciding that paintball is his sport. Randy decided that night to get a team together for the 'open' tournament the next day...open means anyone higher/more experienced than novice...and there was a 'semi-pro' team on hand from Portsmouth. The semi-pro team was 'practicing' for the Chicago Nationals they're going to next month.

Randy's team of 5 (guys he has played with before) and the semi-pro team made it to the finals (the semi-pros had beaten Randy's team during regular tournament play). Randy's team then beat the semi-pros by 2 points. Everyone was in shock because it was such a bizarre game... his team put together an 'unusual' strategy for the last game and confused the @#$$ out of the other team. Randy got 2 of the 5 guys out on the other team. It was unbelievable! The semi-pro team said "we'll be seeing much more out of this kid."
